Heath Rost
Founder & CEO
Heath Benjamin Rost founded Personable Media in 2013 after moving from Iowa to Colorado, setting up the firm in downtown Denver with a focus on web design, hosting, and content marketing for small businesses. He graduated from Wartburg College in 2011 with a Liberal Arts degree in Computer Information Systems, and continued his training through The Foundation in 2014 and the University of Denver in 2016. He also completed Leadership Jefferson County in 2017 and Leadership Arvada in 2018, reflecting an interest in local civic life that shows up elsewhere on the site, including a stated commitment to donate 10% of revenue toward hunger relief in the Denver metro through partner nonprofit Free Food Now.
The agency began as a generalist small-business and nonprofit web shop, and the public-facing narrative of the site shows it has since repositioned around a single vertical: estate planning attorneys. The header copy, lead magnets, and recent blog posts all speak to that niche, pitching solo and small-firm estate planning lawyers who want qualified leads rather than traffic volume. Rost's thesis, implied across the homepage and About page, is that trust in estate planning is earned before the first meeting, and that a plainspoken website plus consistent blogging is how a lawyer builds that trust at scale.
The team is small and distributed: Apryl Redbird handles client success and turns client blog content into printed books, and Justin Daniel, a senior technical analyst tied to GoDaddy hosting, leads support and infrastructure. The founder story on the site is relatively brief and the estate planning positioning appears to be a recent sharpening rather than a decade-long specialty.
Editorial
Editor’s take
Personable Media positions itself as a specialized digital marketing and web design agency serving estate planning attorneys in the Denver metro area, with lead generation as a central focus. Founded by Heath B. Rost — who operates across 12+ office locations throughout the region — the agency brings direct, ground-level familiarity with the estate planning market to its work. Their service mix of website copywriting, search advertising, and social advertising reflects a tightly scoped offering built around attorney client acquisition.
What they do
Services
WordPress Website Design & Development
Two-week WordPress builds aimed at estate planning attorneys who need a site that quickly communicates who they are, who they serve, and how prospects book a consultation. Emphasis is on plain-language copy and a clear path from page visit to booked call.
Website Hosting & Support
Managed WordPress hosting and maintenance billed month-to-month, starting at $99/month with a guarantee that the rate will not increase. Support is handled in-house by a GoDaddy-trained technician, which fits solo and small estate planning firms that don't want a separate IT vendor.
Search Engine Advertising
Paid search campaigns on Google and Bing targeted at high-intent estate planning queries, positioned as the fastest way to get a newly launched attorney website in front of prospective clients while organic content builds.
Social Media Advertising
Meta (Facebook and Instagram) paid campaigns aimed at estate planning firms, typically used to promote educational content and local seminars to an older, asset-holding audience in the attorney's service area.
Blog Coaching
A six-week engagement in which the team helps an estate planning attorney write and publish their first eleven blog posts, then trains the firm to continue publishing in-house. Posts are also repurposed into printed books the attorney can hand to prospects.
Content Repurposing into Print
A signature offering led by client success lead Apryl Redbird, who assembles an attorney's blog content into physical books the firm uses as a brand and trust-building asset at consultations and community events.
