Privacy policy
Last updated: April 20, 2026
This policy describes what data TopMarketingAgencies.com collects, how we use it, and what choices you have. We try to keep it plain-English; if anything is unclear, email [email protected].
Who we are
TopMarketingAgencies.comis an editorial directory operated by Seven Figure Agency (“we”, “us”). The site is a curated list of U.S. niche marketing agencies. Some featured agencies are members of our network; placement is always disclosed — see our methodology.
What we collect and why
Browsing data
We use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics and other measurement tags. If you allow analytics cookies, Google sets cookies that record pages viewed, referrer, device type, approximate location (country / region), and a pseudonymous identifier. We use this to understand which niches and pages are useful and to improve the directory.
We use Google’s Consent Mode v2. If you reject analytics or marketing cookies — or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal — Google only receives cookieless pings that do not identify you.
Information you send us (lead form)
When you use the “find a vetted agency” form on a category page, we collect the name, email, company, and project details you provide. We store these in Airtable (our internal CRM) and use them only to route you to an appropriate qualified agency and follow up on your request. We do not sell this data.
Application form (for agencies)
When you apply to be considered for the directory via /for-agencies, we collect the business and founder details you submit so our editorial team can qualify your agency. This information is used only for the qualification process.
Server logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare receives standard request data (IP address, user-agent, referrer) to route traffic, serve the site, and block abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Cookies we set
- Essential: a preference cookie that remembers your consent choice. Always on.
- Analytics (opt-in): Google Analytics cookies (
_ga,_ga_*) set by Google when you allow analytics. Expires after 24 months. - Marketing (opt-in):conversion / retargeting cookies from Google Ads and similar platforms, set only if you allow marketing. Expires per the vendor’s policy.
You can change your choice any time via the Cookie preferences link in the footer.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Specifically:
- EU / UK (GDPR): access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
- California (CCPA / CPRA):the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of “sale” or “sharing”. We do not sell personal information. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out of analytics and marketing.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We’ll verify your request and respond within 30 days (or the timeframe your local law requires, whichever is shorter).
Data retention
Analytics data is retained for up to 26 months in Google Analytics. Lead-form and application submissions are retained in Airtable for as long as we are working with you, plus seven years for business-records purposes, unless you ask us to delete earlier.
International transfers
We’re based in the U.S. If you’re accessing the site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. Our processors (Google, Cloudflare, Airtable) rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent transfer mechanisms for cross-border data flows.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top and, for significant changes, flag it on the site. The current version is always available at /privacy/.
This policy is a plain-English starting point, not legal advice. Review with your counsel before relying on it for compliance in your jurisdiction.
