The challenge

Austin Metro was stuck at ~90 booked jobs per month from digital, most of them coming through an aging Angi relationship that clawed back 15% per lead. Their own site ranked page 2 for the money terms and their Local Services Ads account had been suspended twice for background-check gaps.

The approach

Rebuilt the service-area page template around job-to-be-done queries (water heater, slab leak, trenchless sewer) rather than generic plumber pages. Rebooted the LSA account with cleaned background checks and disputed every spam lead weekly. Moved paid search spend from broad-match to exact + phrase on emergency intent keywords and added a 'call within 5 minutes' SLA to the confirmation page.
